bib designs

October 15th, 2009

This week it was nice to receive some samples of the actual product (baby bibs) that I designed for Nemcor, Inc.  I found out that they were being sold at Sears Canada under the “babyboots” label, so I went to some of the Sears stores in my area and was able to see & purchase more samples of my work from the store.  I was really excited to see what these designs came out looking like.  This is the first that I’ve seen something I’ve designed “in fabric” rather than “print”.  Very, very neat… and as always it’s very surreal to see product that I’ve designed in a large department store like that.  I’m really interested in doing more of this kind of work (infant clothing) in the future.

It turns out that the bibs happened to make it into the Sears flyer this week, so I’m posting that here for you to see:

A slightly new website… lots of new design work…

September 16th, 2009

You’ll notice a slightly new look to the website today.  Back in August, I started creating some new marketing material to promote my graphic design work… this new website design integrates the same colours and some of the design elements.  A major adjustment is the addition of the pull down menus and the rather cool new way of displaying my portfolio.  Both these features will make it easier for this section to “grow” and to update.   As a result you will notice lots of fresh new designs to view today.  I hope that you will enjoy.

I am still in the process of tweaking.  So if you have any comments or suggestions to make your visit better send them along.
